Description
Title: “Burros” — Contemporary sculpture in bronze and iron (Limited edition)
Burros is a work created in 2025 that invites viewers to interpret it freely. Two bronze donkeys, joined by a simple metal structure on an iron base, create an open scene in which each person can project their own interpretation based on their vision, experience, and sensitivity.
The work does not impose a meaning: that freedom of interpretation is precisely its critique. By not offering a closed narrative, it questions the tendency to seek absolute explanations and raises the possibility that the meaning of a piece—like that of many human situations—depends on the observer.
Measuring 50 cm long, 15 cm high, and 8 cm wide, Burros combines formal simplicity with strong symbolic meaning. Its materials—bronze and iron—reinforce the solidity of the scene, while the arrangement of the figures opens up a space for individual reflection.
